At Scottburgh Diagnostic Imaging, we are constantly looking at ways to expand our range of health care equipment. We work tirelessly to make sure our patients have access to high-quality health care services.
Bone Density scans detect health conditions such as Osteoporosis which is most common in adults over 50 and women are four times more likely to get it than men.
With this in mind, we are proud to announce that we now offer our patients Bone Density scans.
A bone density scan uses low dose X-rays to see how dense or strong your bones are. Bone density scans are often used to diagnose or assess your risk of osteoporosis, a health condition that weakens bones and makes them more likely to break.
